The Concord C1 Quantum Gravity watch is one of the most over-the-top watches I’ve come across. It’s design seems loud, with its massive face and hefty size. Yet its rugged appearance and exposed innards and dials gives it an almost handsome charm. It’s the kind of watch Jack Bauer would be proud to have on his wrist while saving good ‘ol US of A.
Be sure to point your browser towards the Concord C1 Quantum Gravity site to view updated news and loads of pictures on the production of this amazing watch.
Concord has a range of other watches besides the C1 Quantum Gravity that can be purchased from Amazon.
Terminator Salvation mania is currently sweeping cinemas worldwide. Reviews have been a mixed bag. I haven’t seen it myself, but will be heading to my local cinema sometime later this week to judge for myself. In the meantime, I guess I’ll just drool over this rather cool Terminator Salvation Fuel Cell Lighter from Hollywood Collectibles Group.
This lighter is fashioned after a Nuclear Fuel Cell which is found in the chest of every Terminator, and is what gives them their juice to light up those menacingly familiar glowing red (or blue) eyes. According to HCG, the lighter costs $19.99, is made from chrome plated diecast metal, and measures 3.5″ in length and is presented in a metal Terminator Salvation collector’s box.
I guess most of us are eagerly anticipating Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, one of 2009’s potential summer blockbusters. I know I am. Can’t wait to see Prime & Co. kick some shiny Decepticon ass. To help ease the wait, here’s an interesting Transformers related merchandise. It’s a 4-port USB hub which resembles a Toshiba Qosmio notebook, and it transforms into a robot as well! It apparently stores a micro-cassette tape as well, but I can’t make out if it’ll allow recording/play capabilities. But are there anyone out there who still uses a micro-cassette tape these days? Reporters maybe?
This nifty transformable hub will be available in September from AmiAmi for 3,980YEN. [News via Gizmodo]
